ABOUT ME
Timeless furniture and home decor crafted from locally sourced sustainable softwoods, hardwoods, upcycled wood, and salvaged lumber.
I’m a self-taught carpenter based in the Val de Bagnes, Switzerland. Specializing in custom furniture and home decor, my work blends traditional craftsmanship with Scandinavian design elements.
I moved to Switzerland from Finland in the late ’90s to ski and climb, mountains have always been a huge passion of mine, and they continue to inspire my work today. After my adventurous “ski bum” years, I decided to settle in this beautiful region. I spent a few years working as a general carpenter, honing my skills and gaining valuable experience from my Canadian mentor before eventually establishing my own business.
Attention to detail is at the heart of my craft. Whether it’s a small custom piece or a larger project, I focus on creating functional, beautifully crafted pieces that stand the test of time. As a skier, I’m deeply conscious of our climate today and strive to be as sustainable as possible in my work, using sustainably harvested wood, upcycled materials, and salvaged wood. My goal is to ensure we preserve our beautiful nature for future generations.
